Nenagh Olympic A.C. Fundraising
Appeal. The Club has just launched
a fundraising site to raise 90,000
euro to cover the shortfall in the
cost of restoring the Indoor
Stadium to competition level
following their recent fire
damage. The Indoor stadium is a
very valuable resource to
athletics in Munster so if anyone
or any Club is in a position to
help them with their appeal, it

They are open to all athletes aged
12+ and will run from 11am to 1pm
on each day at a cost of 5 euro
per athlete. On Day 1 and Day 3,
the events will be Sprints, Shot,
Long Jump, Pole Vault & Middle
Distance and Day 2 and Day 4 will
cover Short Hurdles, Javelin, High
Jump & Middle Distance. The
Performance Squads will cover all
events.

Championships:
Following extensive
representations from Clubs, it has
been agreed by AAI to move these
Championships to a standalone day
prior to the start of the National
individual competitions. This
event will now be held on Sunday
2nd July in Athlone I.T. starting
at 12 noon. Please note that the
AAI National Juvenile "B"
Championships will still take
place on Saturday 15th July but
with a later start time of 1pm.

Great Limerick Run has been confirmed
as the official venue for the staging
of the Munster Marathon & Half
Marathon Championships for the next 3
years. Now in its seventh year, this
event has grown to over 13,000
participants in 2015. Munster
Athletics will have a number of
categories for runners including
Senior, Masters & Team Categories.

Junior Teams: For the National
Inter-Club & Even Age Cross Country
Championships please note the
following:-
In the 17-18 age groups, OPEN ENTRY will
apply provided the
athlete has competed in the
Provincial/Regional Cross Country
Championships. Entries through
Provincial Secretary ONLY.
An U/18 athlete may score on the
Junior team if selected & entered as
well as score on the U/18 County &
Provincial Team but many not score on
both Club teams.
Teams must be entered in the correct
age category before the Closing date for
entries.

Juvenile Even Age, Novice & U/23
Cross Country Championships on Sunday
